In 2011 a new version of La Ola Blanca was formed with the sons of two famous wrestlers who donned white masks, Hijo del Dr. Wagner and El Hijo del Médico Asesino. The team has been active in IWRG, WWL and other independent promotions. The team was inactive in 2012 and 2013 when Asesino went to WWE developmental under the name Benicio Salazar.
