The Distrito Federal Tag Team Championship is the tag team equivalent of the Distrito Federal Heavyweight Championship and Distrito Federal Trios Championship. Like the others, they're state commission controlled championships to be defended inside Mexico City (DF), and all wrestlers are eligible to challenge for them.
There may be different versions of "Campeonato de Parejas del Estado de Mexico" (Mexico State Tag Team Championship) around, as they differ on title designs.
Current Champions
Monje Loco I & Monje Loco II are the current champions.
There's no complete championship history available for the DF Tag Titles, but former champions include:
- Arkangel & Guerrero de la Muerte
- Pequeño Solín & Robin Hood
- Brazo de Plata & El Brazo
- Rocky Santana & Bronco (UWA)
- Mr. Niebla and an unknown partner
- Mascara Magica & Kundra
In addition, a December 1, 1984 card in Arena Apatlaco lists a title match between the teams of Javier Llanes & Impacto and Jerry Estrada & El Dandy. Neither team is listed as the reigning champions.
