Incognito is believed to have started using the name Mistico just before the CMLL wrestler of the same name. However, Incongnito was doing so in the lesser known rings of Juarez (compared to Mistico in Mexico City) and CMLL seemingly won the rights to the name in court. Incongnito will still occasionally use varaied spellings of the name "Mistico" close to Juarez, since the fans there knew him under that name, but has switched to Incognito elsewhere. Supporters of Incongito claim he's more spectacular than Mistico, but he's not close to Mistico's level of fame.

Incongito is said to be (or was) studying to become a priest.
