Biography
During 1950s he was practicing boxing his trainer was the South American Champion, Luis Federico Thompson in the Club Deportivo Moron. In 1960s he met the legendary wrestler Chief Zulu by him he also met Tobias Giordano a prominent wrestling trainer who introduced him to the World of the catch. Giordano himself proposed to him the ring name of El Mongol for Colosos de la Lucha in 1968.
In 1977 by recomendation of Rubén Peucelle he went to Titanes en el Ring as El Samurai. A character strongly based on the character of Toshiro Mifune in the film The Seven Samurais. His first match in Titanes en el Ring was against Martin Karadagian.
Among his different names and gimmicks his most recognized character was Genghis Khan. As Genghis Khan he is one of the most well known and legendary wrestlers in Argentina. Before taking the character and being assigned he did his own reseach about the character. Moreover he even learned phrases in the Mongolian language and he did not speak Spanish with the crowd. He was a Master of characterization. In Lucha Fuerte, he alternated his Genghis Khan character with the masked Gíbor El Rey del Mal. With the mask and moveset it was almost imposible to correlate both characters as the same person. He died of cancer in 2009.
